Today marks the completion of one week committing to changing my life. (I suppose it’s recommitting, due to my falling off the band wagon back at the end of August.)
This week I:
1) Cooked 4 wonderful dinners that then doubled as lunches, which were full of protein and vegetables.
2) Went to the gym 4 times and pushed myself each time.
3) Started running again. Hello, sanity! It’s nice to see you again!
And these accomplishments are so much more to me than a number going down on a scale.
I don’t think there’s a better feeling than seeing yourself do things you couldn’t do a month ago.
